Functions required for firefighting uniforms
Heat-Resisting Property
The heat-resistant type uses highly heat-resistant PPS (Polyphenylene Sulphide) fiber as the main material, and its adhesive strength is stable even in high-temperature environments. It can be worn safely even under high temperatures.
Flame resistance
Using flame-retardant PPS fiber and Kuraray Fastening's proprietary manufacturing process that does not use backcoat material, high flame-retardant performance is achieved without the addition of flame retardants.
Self-extinguishing property
The use of self-extinguishing PPS fibers and the absence of a backcoat material further contribute to the excellent self-extinguishing properties of the product as a whole.
Chemical resistance
In addition to the excellent chemical resistance of PPS fibers, high chemical resistance is achieved through a unique manufacturing process that does not use backcoat materials, which are susceptible to chemicals.
